​Review of membership and board requirements:

 

Membership term is January 1 thru December 31. Membership is contingent on payment of dues. 2025 dues will be set at a minimum of $10 with $20 requested. Only members who are residents and/or personally own property in Lower Coast Algiers, and have paid their dues for the year may vote in board elections

 

Nomination of board members will be accepted from the floor and nominations will be accepted via email to info@lowercoastalgiers.org. Put nomination in the subject line Nominations will close November 15 and the election will be held on December 05, 2025.

Electronic ballots will be sent to all dues paying members who have provided an email address.

 

Board will be comprised of Lower Coast Algiers Residents only, with 7 members, 4 from English Turn, and 3 from residents living outside of English Turn. Board term will be 2 years, with the exception that the three members elected in 2025 will serve only one year. This will allow continuity of leadership in future years.

 

The English Turn resident with the lowest vote count will serve only one year. The LCA resident living outside of English Turn Golf Course Community with the lowest vote count will serve only one year. One additional member, the one with the next lowest vote count will serve only one year.
